Overview

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the proper execution of warehouse-related activities to guarantee efficient operations and compliance with the Organization's regulations and procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Implement inventory systems and procedures in the warehouse.
  • Conduct daily/periodic physical inventories to ensure data accuracy.
  • Prepare daily reports on stocks, goods received/issued and update stock cards and shelf cards.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing goods through reception, verification and processing of delivery/receipt notes.
  • Perform internal movements and relocations of goods as instructed by the Senior Warehouse Assistant, ensuring compliance with warehouse management procedures.
  • Consolidate and prepare NFI kits as needed, and verify their accuracy and completeness.
  • Supervise, coordinate and participate in loading/unloading operations; ensure trucks depart with the correct goods and quantities.
  • Complete Supply Application Forms (SAF) based on needs assessments.
  • Under the direction of the Supply Chain Officer, organize and implement distributions in accordance with approved SAFs.
  • Submit distribution activity reports to the Warehouse Inventory Clerk.
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned.
Required Experience
  • Licence, preferably in business administration or logistics, with a minimum of one (1) year of relevant professional experience; or, Secondary school diploma with three (3) years of relevant professional experience in store and/or warehouse management or in conducting field activities, such as distributions.
  • Previous experience within an international organization is an asset.
  • Experience in the use of office software (MS Word, Excel, etc.) as well as knowledge of spreadsheets and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from diverse cultures and professional backgrounds to achieve set objectives.
Qualifications

• Licence, preferably in business administration or logistics; or, Secondary school diploma.
