Overview
The Field Team Leader (MM-II Technology Survey) will coordinate and oversee daily activities of field data collectors, ensuring compliance with protocols and quality assurance of data collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of field data collectors, ensuring full compliance with established data collection protocols, methodologies, and timelines
- Assign geographic areas and specific locations to data collectors, and systematically monitor their progress and performance
- Conduct both quantitative and qualitative field interviews with individuals from host and migrant communities, ensuring ethical and culturally sensitive engagement
- Supervise and ensure the overall quality, accuracy, and integrity of data collection processes across the assigned province
- Provide continuous, real-time feedback and technical guidance to field data collectors to address data quality issues and improve performance
- Undertake joint field visits with Project Associates to support implementation and ensure alignment with project objectives
- Effectively utilize designated mobile data collection tools and platforms in line with project requirements
- Prepare and submit regular (daily) updates on field progress, operational challenges, and key observations
- Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with community members, local authorities, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate field access and smooth implementation
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor
Required Experience
- Completion of secondary education (high school diploma) is required, with a minimum of one (1) month of professional experience.
- Previous experience in field data collection, surveys, or assessments is desired.
- Prior experience working with migrants, refugees, or displaced populations is a strong advantage.
- Experience using digital data collection tools (e.g., KoboToolbox, ODK) is desirable.
