Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and assistance to refugees and stateless persons.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on asylum and refugee law.
- Draft legal documents, including submissions, appeals, and legal opinions.
- Represent refugees and stateless persons in legal proceedings.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of legal protection strategies.
- Monitor and report on legal developments affecting refugees and stateless persons.
- Train and mentor junior staff and partners on legal matters.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in refugee law, international human rights law, or related fields.
- Experience in providing legal assistance to vulnerable populations.
- Experience in legal research, analysis, and drafting.
- Experience in representing clients in legal proceedings.
Qualifications
• Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognized university.
