Overview
This internship involves supporting the Public Information Officer in the Mechanism Information Programme for Affected Communities (MIP) by contributing to communications projects related to international criminal justice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research in the ICTY/IRMCT database
- Drafting documents and publications
- Assisting with and contributing ideas for producing public information products such as videos, social media posts, and online exhibitions
- Assist with social media communication and awareness-raising campaigns regarding the legacy of ICTY and IRMCT
- Assist with media and press clipping
- Drafting correspondence, newsletters, news items, brochures, talking points, and presentations related to the legacy of the ICTY
- Attending meetings and preparing meeting minutes
- Assisting in the organisation of online events such as lectures, workshops, and trainings
- Performing other duties as required
Qualifications
- Applicants must at the time of application, meet one of the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a relevant first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent),
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a relevant graduate school programme (second university degree (master’s degree) or equivalent, or higher).
