Overview
Provide technical guidance to strengthen national Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in Health Care Facilities (WiH) monitoring systems, including the integration and use of WASH FIT indicators and data collection tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Development / adaptation of the Cameroon WASH FIT training package.
- Strengthen capacity of institutions in WASH FIT.
- Implementation of a WASH FIT training-of-trainers.
- Maintain the 8 steps tracker on UNICEF’s SharePoint.
- Analyse tracker’s results to identify weaknesses and support plan development.
- Provide guidance for strengthening national WiH monitoring systems.
Required Experience
- 10 years of experience in wash or health fields.
- At least two years of experience working on WASH in healthcare facilities.
- Prior experience using the WASH FIT tool.
- Significant Prior experience facilitating trainings or workshops.
- Prior experience working for the United Nations is an added advantage.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Qualifications
• Advanced university degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Engineering, Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
