Overview
Provide communication support to programme teams for donor and UNICEF visibility, multi-media content collection, field visits, and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce human-centred iPhone videos and photography coverage during events and visits, including editing and packaging for social media.
- Write identification of beneficiaries, recording details, profiles and stories of beneficiaries featuring in photographs and videos.
- Participate in recces prior to missions.
- Support filming crews on locations on selected planned videography missions.
- Support in the organisation and execution of high-level field visits.
- Ensure timely and appropriate availability of UNICEF and donor visibility materials on sites.
- Support in facilitating the participation of children and young people for key events.
- Support the Communication, Advocacy and Partnerships (CAP) section with other visit and event-related tasks.
Required Experience
A minimum of five years relevant professional work experience in development/humanitarian communication, print, broadcast media or interactive digital media and events, including experience covering children’s issues for a child rights organisation such as UNICEF.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Mass Media, Communications, Development Studies, or related fields required.
