Overview

To implement standard logistics and supply chain processes to enable the effective delivery of goods and services, supporting the planning, coordination, dispatch, monitoring, and reporting of convoy operations to hard-to-reach areas.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to logistics operations and activities.
  • Support timely ordering and delivery of commodities and supplies.
  • Support management of logistics vendors’ contracting activities.
  • Respond to technical queries and requests for support.
  • Contribute to budget preparation, monitoring and revision.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory management processes.
  • Assist in management of commodity accounting data quality and integrity.
  • Support operational pipeline analyses, assessments and operational planning.
  • Process documentation for execution of logistics operations.
  • Collect and compile data, produce and/or contribute to reports.
  • Liaise with internal and limited number of external stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to other support staff.
  • Perform other related duties, as required.
Required Experience

At least 5 years’ experience in logistics services preferably in transport management and warehousing.

Qualifications

Completion of secondary school education. University degree in relevant field.

Languages Required
Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of French language is an added advantage.
