Overview
The Consultant will provide technical coordination and substantive support for resource mobilization efforts, focusing on developing high-quality concept notes, funding proposals, and investment cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of funding proposals and donor-facing materials, including expressions of interest, concept notes, and budget narratives.
- Development of investment cases and financing proposals, including costed plans and investment rationale.
- Coordination, compliance, and quality assurance support for proposal and investment case development processes, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and WHO guidelines.
Required Experience
- More than five years of relevant experience in developing multi-million-dollar funding proposals or investment cases for public health, humanitarian, climate or development programmes, with a proven track record of securing successful outcomes at international level.
- Over ten years of relevant experience in developing multi-million dollar funding proposals or investment cases for public health, humanitarian, climate or development programmes, with a proven track record of securing successful outcomes at international level.
- Desirable: Experience working within or with WHO/UN system or other international organizations. Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders. Experience coordinating multi-country and/or multi-stakeholder proposal development processes. Experience developing proposals for a range of donors. Background or experience in health systems and/or health policy. Experience in developing investment cases, costed plans, or financing proposals in the health or development sector. Experience working in the Asia-Pacific region.
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree in social sciences, public health, international development, public policy, communications, or related field.
- Training/certification in proposal development, RBM/logframe, and/or M&E.
