Overview
UNICEF Afghanistan seeks to establish a roster of Afghan photographers and videographers for a Long-Term Agreement (LTA) to support the continuous production of high-quality multimedia content for advocacy and donor visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision of high-quality photo coverage of UNICEF programmes, activities, and events.
- Deliver photography assignments with full captions and UNICEF consent forms.
- Produce edited video packages in UNICEF ‘house style’.
- Provide all equipment, software, and accessories required for assignments.
- Obtain and submit signed UNICEF consent forms for all identifiable subjects.
- Submit all required deliverables in the agreed format, including edited photographs, compiled video footage, captions, metadata, shot-lists, transcripts, translations and consent forms.
- Complete reasonable revisions or corrections requested by UNICEF.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Extensive background in video production, journalism for TV, radio and print, news writing, film, breaking news, broadcasting and documentaries.
Qualifications
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Arts, Media, Communication, Literature, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising.
- A Diploma in a relevant field with experience can be considered in lieu of the degree.
