Overview
Establish a pool of individual consultants to support Social and Behavioral Change in Emergencies (SBCiE) and Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) for Public Health Emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support partnerships, collaboration, and coordination mechanisms, including organizing networking events and maintaining dashboards.
- Revise or develop guidelines, standards, tools, and resources for behaviourally informed planning and implementation of humanitarian actions.
- Support the coordination of global research studies and establish platforms for collecting and using social, behavioural, and community-sourced data.
- Facilitate mechanisms for knowledge generation, dissemination, and sharing of experiences on SBC evidence-based strategies.
- Support capacity strengthening initiatives focusing on SBCiE/RCCE for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Experience
At least 8 years of professional work experience at national and international levels in Social and Behavior Change / Community Engagement for humanitarian response and Public Health Emergencies. Preferred experience in emergency preparedness and response at field level.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree in social and behavioral science, sociology, anthropology, psychology, education, communication, public relations or another relevant technical field.
