Overview

The Senior Operations Officer will anchor and coordinate value creation and upstream activities across Asia, supporting PE/VC Funds and direct companies. This role contributes to scaling entrepreneurship, creating jobs, accelerating digitalization, enabling private capital mobilization, and advancing gender equality and sustainability.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, pilot, and scale value creation products and tools.
  • Identify value creation opportunities for portfolio companies and pipeline funds.
  • Drive integration of advisory and upstream priorities into regional investment strategies.
  • Serve as a liaison between CPV regional teams and the Cross-Cutting Advisory and Upstream team.
  • Contribute expertise to PE/VC country diagnostics.
  • Lead operational and coordination of regional knowledge and learning activities.
  • Collect and analyze client and market data.
  • Gather information on regional best practices, trends, and challenges.
  • Prepare project documentation.
  • Create content for client deliverables.
  • Manage implementation of complex projects.
  • Contribute to raising donor funds and prepare progress reports.
  • Structure and lead engagements with clients.
Required Experience

12+ years of relevant experience in entrepreneurship ecosystem development, project development, hands-on advisory and/or consulting functions in emerging markets relating to catalyzing investment opportunity.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Science, Engineering, or another relevant field.
