Overview
The Senior Operations Officer will anchor and coordinate value creation and upstream activities across Asia, supporting PE/VC Funds and direct companies. This role contributes to scaling entrepreneurship, creating jobs, accelerating digitalization, enabling private capital mobilization, and advancing gender equality and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, pilot, and scale value creation products and tools.
- Identify value creation opportunities for portfolio companies and pipeline funds.
- Drive integration of advisory and upstream priorities into regional investment strategies.
- Serve as a liaison between CPV regional teams and the Cross-Cutting Advisory and Upstream team.
- Contribute expertise to PE/VC country diagnostics.
- Lead operational and coordination of regional knowledge and learning activities.
- Collect and analyze client and market data.
- Gather information on regional best practices, trends, and challenges.
- Prepare project documentation.
- Create content for client deliverables.
- Manage implementation of complex projects.
- Contribute to raising donor funds and prepare progress reports.
- Structure and lead engagements with clients.
Required Experience
12+ years of relevant experience in entrepreneurship ecosystem development, project development, hands-on advisory and/or consulting functions in emerging markets relating to catalyzing investment opportunity.
Qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Science, Engineering, or another relevant field.
