Overview
Provide support to the Program Manager in coordinating the principal activities of the Consultative Committee, ensuring joint coordination of the CC Secretariat’s efforts in supporting operational, administrative, and specialized activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Program Manager with the development, implementation, and monitoring of the CC strategy for the Dubai cycle.
- Draft agendas, documents, and reports of the CC.
- Serve as the focal point for the CA Secretariat on CC matters.
- Develop tools to monitor CC Members' feedback and facilitate stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee the management of events and development of CC sponsoring packages.
- Oversee the development of the CC communication strategy.
- Support and coordinate the CC Secretariat's efforts to respond to CC Members' requests.
- Represent the Consultative Committee Secretariat in the absence of the Program Manager to recruit prospects.
- Oversee the follow-up with prospects by the Business/Admin support consultant.
- Support the Program Manager in drafting and monitoring the yearly allocated budget.
- Coordinate the CC Secretariat's effort in tracking the payment of membership fees.
- Work in close collaboration with the legal & stakeholder engagement consultant to ensure CC rules of procedure are up to date.
- Optimize internal workflows within the Secretariat.
- Monitor, lead, and coordinate the work of Team members and interns.
- Oversee the training of young talents (interns).
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the sector of private-public partnerships is required. Experience in the UPU or in another UN agency is desirable. Without Bachelor or equivalent, 8 years of relevant experience is required.
Qualifications
First level university degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in International Relations, Political Science, Business Administration, Communications or a similar field is mandatory. Advanced level university degree is an asset.
