Overview
The consultant will support Generation Unlimited (GenU) in strengthening strategic engagement with the GenU Global Leadership Council and other influential leaders to advance employability, employment and entrepreneurship for young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support implementation of a Membership Strategy & Roadmap for Impact.
- Improve and update membership materials.
- Introduce more dynamic engagement modalities to deepen collaboration, learning, and peer exchange among member organizations.
- Enhance communication and visibility through periodic email briefings and curated newsletters.
- Project-manage GenU’s flagship Global Leadership Council meetings and other key leadership events.
Required Experience
- A minimum of ten years of experience in strategic planning, coordination, advocacy and partnership and event management.
- Experience with programming and partnerships in multilateral organizations with focus on education and/or youth skills and livelihoods.
- Ability to work effectively with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
Qualifications
Master's degree in International development, social sciences or related fields.
