Overview
This internship offers hands-on experience in Human Resources within an international organization, supporting the HR unit and the South Sudan Office. It provides learning and development opportunities for a fresh graduate seeking a career in HR.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment outreach efforts, longlisting and shortlisting candidates, and administering written assessments.
- Assist with the administration of contracts within UNOPS' ERP system and coordinate payments for retainers.
- Research and contribute to the competency-based interview questions library.
- Support the HR Officer on a daily basis and provide HR policy advice.
- Contribute to knowledge management projects and suggest policy improvements.
- Participate in training on Competency Based Interview Methodology and learn the use of UNOPS ERP system.
Required Experience
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience. Desired: Experience with Google Suite applications.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a university degree or have graduated from a university degree within the last 3 years at the time of the application. Preferably studying Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related areas.
