Overview

To coordinate and perform monitoring activities within a specific coverage area and provide reports to support the effective delivery of assistance packages.


Key Responsibilities
  • Verify planned movements and distribution of food or non-food items.
  • Collect and summarise assistance programme data, conduct analysis and prepare reports.
  • Liaise with cooperating partners and internal counterparts to gather feedback.
  • Suggest improvements to field monitoring processes and procedures.
  • Arrange regular meetings with community leaders and cooperating partners.
  • Allocate tasks to other staff, providing guidance and on-the-job training.
  • Provide standard trainings for cooperating partners on WFP operational practices.
  • Prepare field mission reports.
  • Follow set emergency response processes and procedures.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of field work experience in any sector of social development, humanitarian work, health, nutrition, or food security.
  • Experience of collecting programme output and outcome data, conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, and reporting findings.
  • Experience of utilizing WFP monitoring and evaluation systems and standards.
Qualifications
  • Completion of secondary school education.
  • A post-secondary certificate or bachelors degree in social sciences, business administration or other any other related field is desirable.

Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Urdu.
