Overview
To coordinate and perform monitoring activities within a specific coverage area and provide reports to support the effective delivery of assistance packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify planned movements and distribution of food or non-food items.
- Collect and summarise assistance programme data, conduct analysis and prepare reports.
- Liaise with cooperating partners and internal counterparts to gather feedback.
- Suggest improvements to field monitoring processes and procedures.
- Arrange regular meetings with community leaders and cooperating partners.
- Allocate tasks to other staff, providing guidance and on-the-job training.
- Provide standard trainings for cooperating partners on WFP operational practices.
- Prepare field mission reports.
- Follow set emergency response processes and procedures.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of field work experience in any sector of social development, humanitarian work, health, nutrition, or food security.
- Experience of collecting programme output and outcome data, conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, and reporting findings.
- Experience of utilizing WFP monitoring and evaluation systems and standards.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school education.
- A post-secondary certificate or bachelors degree in social sciences, business administration or other any other related field is desirable.
