Overview
The Partnerships Officer will support the UNICEF Ukraine Country Office's Partnerships team in resource mobilization, donor relations, and donor reporting. The role contributes to sustaining and expanding the response for children affected by the conflict.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and editing of donor reports by drafting sections, proofreading, and checking alignment with proposals and templates.
- Collect and consolidate data, statistics, and programme updates for reports, proposals, and partner communications.
- Draft select sections of concept notes, project proposals, briefing materials, and donor correspondence.
- Keep the Partnerships section's filing and tracking systems up to date.
- Take notes during internal and external meetings and circulate action points.
- Prepare background research on prospective and existing donors.
- Help maintain updated donor profiles, tracking shifts in development assistance policies and funding trends.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in public affairs, programme management, resource mobilization, external relations, or a related area.
- Experience in drafting, editing, and proofreading reports, proposals, or similar documents in a professional setting, ideally in the humanitarian or development sector.
- Experience conducting background research and synthesizing information from multiple sources.
- Experience coordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders and consolidating information to meet deadlines.
- Experience working in or with the UN system or an international development organization is an asset.
- Experience working with international counterparts, both verbally and in writing, in a multicultural environment is an asset.
Qualifications
Master's degree in International relations, political science, communications, international development, or another relevant field.
