Overview
Provides technical support to Oxfam and partner teams in Lebanon on economic justice, with a focus on agriculture, food systems, livelihoods recovery, and business support. Promotes programme learning, quality, and effectiveness, and supports advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides timely and high-quality technical support on economic justice, agriculture, food systems, livelihoods recovery, and support to businesses and job creation.
- Promotes programme learning and continuous improvement of programme quality and effectiveness, and strengthened accountability.
- Supports the production of evidence from programmes that underpins effective advocacy and campaigns.
- Identifies scaling-up opportunities and new project ideas in line with economic needs on the ground, in consultation with programme teams.
- Integrates cash-based modalities, access to finance, social protection, and safety nets as cross-cutting tools.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in international humanitarian or development work, including in the MENA region.
- Substantive focus on agriculture, livelihoods, food security, or rural/enterprise development.
- Proven technical expertise in agricultural value chains, cooperative or MSME support, market systems facilitation, or food systems programming in fragile or conflict-affected contexts.
