This role supervises junior staff in trade and craft areas, installs and maintains systems, and prepares technical reports. It also involves managing work orders, inspecting quality, and planning operational execution.
A minimum of seven (07) years of progressively responsible experience in construction/commissioning or operations/maintenance of facilities and infrastructure within the specific trade and craft area of carpentry, electrical, heavy equipment operator, mechanic, plumbing, welding and/or related trade and craft is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to five (5) for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher. Experience working in AutoCAD (2D &3D) to develop technical drawings is desirable. Experience in developing Schedule of Rates (SORs) and / or Scope of Works (SOW) for engineering goods and services is desirable. Experience working in UN or international organizations in the field of engineering is desirable. Experience in Supply Chain Planning Tool & Real Estate Management is desirable.
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Trade and Craft Certification in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding or related trade is required.
