Overview

The Programme Analyst will facilitate the effective implementation and day-to-day management of the Women Leaders in Finance Platform (WiF). The role supports partnerships, resource mobilization, knowledge sharing, and advocacy related to inclusive economies and gender equality.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance to strengthen programmatic priorities on the WIF platform.
  • Facilitate the preparation and monitoring of the annual work plan, budget, and procurement plan.
  • Coordinate the procurement of services and recruitment of personnel.
  • Monitor and process financial transactions in UNDP ERP System-Quantum.
  • Support strengthening strategic partnerships and contribute to resource mobilization efforts.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality reporting to management and donors.
  • Attend meetings, prepare concept notes, presentations, briefs, and talking points.
  • Provide support for organizing training, workshops, and capacity building activities.
  • Identify, synthesize, and document best practices and lessons learned.
  • Participate in knowledge networks and communities of practice.
  • Support the establishment of knowledge platforms and develop knowledge resources.
  • Promote advocacy on development trends and opportunities.
  • Draft briefing notes, talking points, and presentations for corporate requests and events.
  • Attend management meetings and follow up on workplans.
  • Support the preparation of progress reports and donor reports.
  • Provide inputs to UNDP's strategic positioning on inclusive economic development and gender equality.
Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience in public or private finance and demonstrated engagement in advancing women’s leadership in public and/or private finance.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, or related field is required, or a first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas stated above, in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience.
