Overview

The role supports the effectiveness and efficiency of the Supply Section by assisting with supply chain management and providing support to staff in assigned areas of responsibility.


Key Responsibilities
  • Reviews incoming demand/sales orders for completeness and appropriateness of specifications.
  • Supports the preparation of tender documents and the implementation of the tender process.
  • Assists in sourcing suppliers and evaluating offers.
  • Drafts submissions to the Contract Review Committee.
  • Assists in the preparation of contracts and purchase orders.
  • Ensures appropriate documentation and data are kept on file.
  • Maintains data for source and availability plans, logistics plans, delivery plans, and actual delivery schedules.
  • Prepares Direct Orders against existing Long-Term Arrangements.
  • Works with suppliers to ensure quality assurance and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Ensures continuous availability of procurement data, including forecasting, requisitions, orders, incoming goods, and delivery schedules.
  • Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports.
Required Experience
  • 1 month of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience (up to 3 years) in supply and procurement or other administrative functions in a commercial working environment, or Event and Meeting Management.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in statistics, development economics, business administration, international relations, social sciences, international relations or similar field.

Remuneration
• Current Monthly Living Allowance (MLA): USD 2,105 • Private insurance: Health, dental, life, and dismemberment coverage by CIGNA • Entry allowance (one-time payment): USD 3,500 • Dependent allowance and insurance are provided based on eligibility criteria. • Exit allowance: USD 225 per month, and upon the satisfactory completion of assignment • Annual leave: 2.5 days accrued per calendar month
