Overview
The Partnerships Specialist role focuses on strengthening engagement with strategic partners, deepening collaboration across sectors, and ensuring effective functioning of governance and partnership platforms for YuWaah. The purpose is to drive incomes through partners, manage existing partnerships, support the governance structure, and foster partnerships that enable YuWaah's goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual partnership engagement and resource mobilization plans.
- Grow strategic long-term, flexible income through partners and board members.
- Manage existing YuWaah partnerships, including reporting, participation in governance, and co-creation.
- Support the management of the board and leadership council.
- Support advocacy efforts with a focus on the private sector.
- Establish and manage partnerships to leverage funds for YuWaah's goals.
- Provide inputs into partnerships plans and strategy.
- Report on progress linked to donor reports and other national or global reporting requirements.
- Establish programmatic and strategic relationships.
Required Experience
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the Development Sector focusing on Partnerships and Fund Raising or any other related field.
Qualifications
Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Social Science, International Development or any other relevant field.
