Do you enjoy working with young people? Are you interested in non-formal education methods and ready to implement that in your daily work? Join our youth center as a Youth Worker Volunteer and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people! Your tasks: -Supervise the youth club meetings, which take place on weekdays' evenings, and plan engaging activities to attract more youngsters to the space. -Facilitate meetings for teenagers focusing on active citizenship and leadership, establish a YouthLab for youth discussions and idea incubation, and execute micro-projects to promote community engagement. -Create Social media content from the workshops and events. -Organize recreational activities and workshops for children, teenagers, and young adults, addressing various topics such as democracy, intercultural education, human rights, equality, art, and individual interests. -Collaborate in the planning, programming, and execution of winter and summer holiday events. -Own ideas Accommodation, food and transport arrangements You will receive health insurance, monthly pocket money for food, and other expenses (180€+700PLN). Travel costs will be reimbursed depending on the travel distance (between 90-360€, based on the UE calculator). Accommodation in a double room, in a three or four-bedroom flat. Volunteers participate in the training offered by the Polish National Agency: on-arrival training and mid-term, and Akwedukt's Association inner programme: introduction training, methods of working with kids, monthly meetings and evaluation sessions, skill-oriented meetings, youthpass certification trainings, and any other preparation and trainings needed inside the Hosting Organisations.
