Overview
This volunteer opportunity involves consolidating the ruins of a 16th-century castle and enriching its history through intercultural encounters. Participants will work on masonry tasks and contribute to collective daily life.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate the masonry of a stone parapet wall in castle ruins.
- Create a patina to visually unify sections completed during earlier campaigns.
- Select and place stones.
- Prepare and apply mortar.
- Work on scaffolding for some tasks.
- Organize menus, including vegetarian and vegan diets.
- Participate in shopping trips.
- Prepare meals on a rotating basis.
- Engage in shared group organization.
