Overview
Volunteers will participate in a project focused on storytelling through the creation of a short film connected to the history, culture, and identity of rural Sicily. The project will encourage creativity, teamwork, intercultural exchange, and active participation within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in workshops dedicated to filmmaking phases: storytelling, scriptwriting, filming, editing, and audiovisual communication.
- Watch and discuss films related to Sicilian local history and culture.
- Collectively develop the theme and narrative of a short movie, from initial idea to final production.
- Present the final short film during a public event.
- Share learning journey through activities, discussions, and screenings.
- Take care of the management and cleaning of the house and prepare meals in a common kitchen.
Required Experience
Interest in manual work, event organisation, and teamwork is recommended.
