Overview

The role of Reporting Officer involves ensuring the quality, format, and timeliness of reporting for all projects, particularly donor reporting, at the UNDP Mauritania Country Office. This includes data collection, review, cross-verification, and final formatting of reports.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collect data on program results in the field.
  • Develop a planning schedule for internal and external reporting deadlines.
  • Monitor project and donor report submission deadlines.
  • Review the quality and format of project and donor reports.
  • Archive all relevant documents on SharePoint.
  • Support reporting on the UN Framework and update data on UNINFO.
  • Update data on the UNDP monitoring and evaluation platform.
  • Assist program managers in updating project indicator data on various platforms.
  • Support monitoring of project quality assurance and environmental and social standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Results-Oriented Analytical Report (ROAR).
  • Support project and program evaluations.
Required Experience

Three years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, program and project management, multi-donor reporting, or audit. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel. Knowledge of online platforms and data collection tools (e.g., Kobotoolbox).

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in statistics, economics, computer science, international development, humanitarian intervention, or a related field.
