Overview
Invitation for bids for the construction of a 50,000 m3/day water treatment plant with mechanical and electrical works for the augmentation of Ambatale Water Treatment Plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Construction & completion of Aerator, Flocculation tanks, Sedimentation tanks, Filtration units, Chemical feeding system, Yard piping and other associated works at Ambatale Water Treatment Plant (WTP). (50,000 m3/day)
- Construction of Lime Saturator Tanks (2 nos)
- Improvement of the existing chemical dosing System, including the supply, installation, and commissioning of high‑lift pumps and associated surge vessels at Ambatale WTP.
Required Experience
- Average annual construction turnover (AACT) in any 5 years within the last 10 years: 6.50 USD million.
- Financial Resources: 1.30 USD million.
- Similar construction experience of a minimum of two contracts involving water treatment plants, each with a value of at least 4.50 USD million.
- Construction experience in key activities: Participation and successful implementation, as a contractor, joint venture partner, or subcontractor, in the following technical requirements, within the last 10 years.
- Extensive hands-on experience in the construction of a full-scale WTP with a minimum capacity of 20,000m3/day, covering aeration facilities, coagulation and flocculation systems, sedimentation tanks, filtration units, chemical dosing systems, yard piping, and integrated mechanical and electrical works with automation.
