Overview
This is an invitation for bids for the construction of an intake, water treatment plant with M&E, SCADA, and raw water main for the Lunugamwehera Integrated Water Supply Project.
Key Responsibilities
- Construction and completion of a fully automated 54,000 m3/day Intake structure including Supply & Installation of Micro strainers, pumps with control panels at Intake and power supply arrangements with a Transformer for grid power and standby Generator.
- WTP (20,000 m3/d capacity including feeding system of Chemicals, Backwash recovery, Chlorination, SCADA system, sludge management with associated M&E works).
- Supply & laying of Raw water transmission main.
Required Experience
- Average Annual Construction Turnover (AACT) of USD 10.25 million in any 5 years within the last 10 years.
- Financial Resources of USD 2.00 million.
- Similar construction experience of a minimum of two contracts involving Water Treatment Plants, each with a value of at least USD 8.55 million.
- Construction experience in key activities: Participation and successful implementation, as a contractor, joint venture partner, or subcontractor, in the following technical requirements, within the last 10 years:
1. Having experience in construction of one WTP with minimum capacity of 10,000 m3/day (Including construction and completion of Intake structure, aerator, sedimentation tank, filtration unit, chemical feeding system, sludge treatment system, yard piping, and other associated works.).
2. Having experience in DI pipe laying of minimum 600 mm dia 400m length.
