Invitation for Bids for the Construction of Wastewater Treatment Plant and Effluent Disposal System for Jaffna City under the Climate-Resilient Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project.
Key Responsibilities
- Construction of 14,000 cubic meter per day capacity wastewater treatment plant with Waste Stabilization Pond system.
- Supply and laying of 6 km long HDPE effluent disposal pipeline with reuse system.
Required Experience
- Average Annual Construction Turnover (AACT) in any 5 years within the last 10 years: 11.00 USD million.
- Financial Resources: 2.00 USD million.
- Similar Size Construction Experience: At least one contract for water supply and/or sewerage and/or earth work of minimum value of $11 million each completed within 1 January 2016 and the bid submission deadline.
- Similar Nature Construction Experience: Maximum of two (2) contracts that include earth embankment works with a cumulative volume of earthwork of not less than 100,000 m³, completed within 1st January 2016 and bid submission deadline.
- Construction experience in key activities: 1. Supply and laying of 5 km long, 300 mm dia. or above HDPE pipeline. 2. Supply and installation of 25 kw capacity pumps.
