Overview
This internship supports the implementation and coordination of programme activities, assisting with document drafting, communication, and event organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support programme implementation and coordination.
- Assist in drafting, editing, and reviewing official correspondence, reports, briefing notes, presentations, and meeting minutes.
- Contribute to programme communication and visibility efforts.
- Support coordination and communication with national counterparts and partners.
- Assist in the organization of meetings, workshops, training activities, and field missions.
- Provide administrative and operational support.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in, or have recently completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
- OR be enrolled in, or have recently completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in international policing, criminology, criminal justice, security studies, international relations, law enforcement studies, or a related field.
- Be computer literate in standard software applications.
