Overview

Provide technical assistance to UNODC counterparts to implement the corruption risk methodology in at least one pilot public institution in Sierra Leone and support South-South learning events.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, co-facilitate and follow-up on a corruption risk mitigation workshop with the Ministry of Sport, in consultation with the Anti-Corruption Commission;
  • Support the implementation of the corruption risk mitigation plan, ensuring that it is conflict and gender-sensitive.
  • Facilitate ongoing buy-in and support for the CRM process among Sierra Leonean stakeholders, including through learning from South-South cooperation events. Undertake other duties as required on the subject topics to ensure implementation of activities.
  • At least one corruption risk mitigation planning workshop held in Sierra Leone;
  • At least one conflict and gender-sensitive corruption risk mitigation plan endorsed by a public sector institution;
  • Sierra Leonean stakeholders supported to participate in South-South cooperation events (study tour and knowledge exchange); Relevant reports drafted.
Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the field of criminal justice, governance and/or anti-corruption in Sierra Leone is required. Experience in planning and producing interactive events for high level counterparts is desirable. Previous work experience with the UN or other International Organizations is desirable.

Qualifications

An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in criminology, law, political sciences, sociology or related discipline is required; A first level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
