Overview
The European Commission is seeking to hire 2 Contract Agents FG IV Finance and Contracts Officers – Internal and Ex-post Control in Brussels. The role involves contributing to ex-post controls and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the execution of the annual work program for ex-post controls.
- Ensure compliance with the provisions of the Financial Regulations and internal rules on the execution of the budget.
- Verify compliance with other related budgetary rules and provisions in the context of contractual, financial and procurement transactions related to the work programme of the Office.
- Provide appropriate feedback and advice on financial and contractual matters within the Office, when requested, in particular through the analysis of ex-post transactions.
- Follow recommendations issued during previous ex-post-control exercises.
- Back up colleagues on other internal control activities, when needed.
Required Experience
Experience of at least 2 years in audit or finance or budget or internal control
Qualifications
A level of higher education in the field of audit, control, finance and contracts or inspection.
