Overview

Provides logistical and administrative assistance to case teams investigating and analysing mergers and acquisitions. Supports the Head of Unit and other unit members with general administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of market investigations through uploading and sending of questionnaires via a dedicated electronic application
  • Recording, distributing and archiving correspondence and other case-related records
  • Monitoring of deadlines and work flow during the case
  • Preparation and transmission of inter-service consultations
  • Knowledge sharing through internal wiki platform
  • Liaison with external stakeholders for the organization of meetings
  • Preparation and circulation of electronic signataires
  • General administrative support to the Head of Unit and other members of the Unit
  • Various organisational matters
Required Experience

Appropriate professional experience of at least three years if secondary education is the highest level attained.

Qualifications
  • A level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma, OR
  • A level of secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education
Other Details
Languages Required
• A thorough knowledge (minimum level C1) of one of the 24 official languages of the EU • AND a satisfactory knowledge (minimum level B2) of a second official language of the EU, to the extent necessary for the performance of the duties. • Good command of English is essential.
Languages Preferred
Any other language is an advantage.
Contract Duration
The duration of the 1st contract will be of 1 to 4 years. The contract might then be extended only once for a maximum of 2 years.

Remuneration
The pay of staff members consists of a basic salary supplemented with specific allowances, including, where applicable, expatriation and family allowances.
