Overview
Plan, design, and implement engineering projects aligned with the ICRC’s WatHab in Detention program objectives within the Beirut delegation. Oversee multidisciplinary projects, ensuring successful completion within scope, quality, timelines, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists the program manager in identifying and analyzing needs through assessments and surveys.
- Contributes to evaluating project feasibility.
- Supports the identification of and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Collects all necessary information and data to prepare projects.
- Develops studies, project proposals, and technical designs.
- Prepares and submits project documentation.
- Participates in the launch of procurement processes and works contracts.
- Organizes and supervises the implementation of project-related works and activities.
- Anticipates, identifies, and escalates potential issues, proposing and implementing corrective actions.
- Oversees the commissioning and handover of infrastructure and equipment.
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting and documentation.
Required Experience
- 3 years of professional experience in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
- 3 years of professional experience in Project Management.
Qualifications
Master degree in Mechanical Engineering
