Overview
Provide operational and programme support for the implementation of a medical convoy project, focusing on monitoring, reporting, and documentation of activities in collaboration with the Libyan Red Crescent Society.
Key Responsibilities
- Support field-level implementation of medical convoy activities.
- Conduct follow-up with medical convoy teams to verify activities and services.
- Apply PMER practices for accurate data collection.
- Consolidate medical activity data and contribute to activity summaries.
- Participate in coordination meetings and prepare meeting notes.
- Provide language and translation support.
- Collect, compile, and validate programme data.
- Contribute to project agreements and activity reports.
- Liaise with LRCS to follow up on activities and collect documentation.
- Upload field reports and activity data to IFRC systems.
- Maintain organized documentation and records.
- Coordinate with Health, Programme, and Quality and Accountability teams.
- Facilitate communication between LRCS field teams and IFRC staff.
- Support internal coordination processes for planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Carry out other assigned duties.
Required Experience
Relevant experience in field-based humanitarian operations, including medical activities, health outreach, or community mobilization. Experience supporting PMER activities (monitoring, data collection, and reporting activities) at field or project level. Familiarity with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement or similar humanitarian operating environments. Prior experience working with mobile teams, outreach activities, or medical convoys.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in medical sciences, public health, social sciences, or a related field. Background or coursework related to health, humanitarian response, or community-based programmes.
