Overview
The Community Engagement Intern will work to establish connections between the community and the IRC to garner resources for humanitarian immigrant clients, enhancing the IRC's ability to meet newcomer client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to and coordinate meetings with community partners to recruit volunteers.
- Support volunteer programming by onboarding volunteers, researching best practices, and suggesting program changes.
- Assist in planning events to recognize community partners and volunteers.
- Support content creation for social media, website, newsletter, and outreach materials.
- Track community partnerships.
- Coordinate in-kind donation opportunities.
