Overview
Design, develop, and deliver a three-day training course on E-commerce for government officials in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing relevant national strategies, policies, legislation, and institutional frameworks related to e-commerce, digital trade, digital economy, customs, taxation, consumer protection, logistics, digital payments, cybersecurity, and SME development (5 days);
- In co-operation with the line state agency adapting the training content to the institutional needs and knowledge level of participants (4 days);
- Preparing comprehensive training materials for three days by covering the key dimensions of e-commerce ecosystems and governance (2 days);
- Conducting a 3 days training and ensure the training is adapted to the context and responsibilities of government officials working on e-commerce and digital economy issues in Tajikistan (5 days, including trip);
- Conducting pre-and-post evaluation exercise to assess participants’ learning outcomes by adding it in the comprehensive report upon completion of the assignment (2 days);
- Completing the final report and recommendations (2 days).
Required Experience
At least 7 years of progressive professional experience in e-commerce, digital trade, digital economy policy, ICT regulation, or related fields; Proven experience of working with state agencies, government institutions and public sector; Experience in designing and delivering capacity-building programs, workshops, or executive-level trainings for government officials and policymakers.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or higher) in International Trade, Economics, Business Administration or other related fields; Bachelor's Degree (First-level university degree or equivalent)
