Overview
Provides programme, administrative, and logistical assistance to the Programme Team for smooth programme implementation, focusing on procurement, travel, and consultant recruitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create requisitions and register good receipts in Quantum system.
- Procure goods and services.
- Provide SSA contracting support.
- Prepare payments and finance processing for projects, events, and M&E logistics.
- Undertake logistical, administrative, and financial arrangements for meetings, workshops, events, and missions.
- Prepare travel arrangements and claims for staff.
- Draft meeting minutes.
- Organize and coordinate filing of documents.
- Facilitate staff/visitor movements, manage protocol communications, and back up security administration.
- Provide administrative support for training organization.
- Contribute to synthesis of lessons learned and make recommendations for improvements.
Required Experience
At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support is required. Experience in working in a computer environment using multiple office software packages is required. Experience in the use of ERP systems, preferably Oracle Cloud, is desirable. Experience in supporting a team is desirable.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary education is required. Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration is desirable.
