Overview

Provide technical, operational, and coordination support for the implementation of the Surging Women's Employment Flagship Initiative (SWEI) in Morocco, with a focus on strengthening private sector partnerships and increasing women's access to decent employment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the development and implementation of the Women Economic Empowerment portfolio.
  • Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of SWEI activities.
  • Support private sector engagement and the implementation of the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
  • Conduct company assessments and support the development of tailored gender action plans.
  • Monitor progress on programme activities, results, and indicators.
  • Provide inputs to financial reports and budget revisions.
  • Contribute to strengthening partnerships and opportunities for women's employment.
  • Organize advocacy events, training, workshops, and peer learning sessions.
Required Experience
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in development programme/project implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, donor reporting and capacity building is required.
  • Experience in providing advisory services to the private sector on recruitment practices, a focus on diversity, inclusion and gender parity is desirable.
  • Experience in women’s economic empowerment issues, priorities and stakeholders in Morocco and/or the Arab States is required.
  • Experience in providing capacity building to government stakeholders, private sector partners, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) is desirable.
  • Experience coordinating and liaising with government agencies and/or donors is desirable.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in business administration/management, finance, social sciences, international development, human rights, gender/ women’s studies, or a related field is required.
  • A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
  • A project/programme management certification (such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, or MSP®) would be an added advantage.
