Overview

Develop and lead Global Procurement Strategies to manage and optimize the procurement spend for assigned categories, ensuring they are pertinent, efficient, and respond to global needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Build a comprehensive analysis of the category and a strategy.
  • Formulate strategic priorities for the category and operationalize them into an action plan.
  • Perform sourcing processes for goods or services.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of market factors & trends.
  • Define, monitor and analyse key indicators.
  • Manage and develop Supplier Relationships.
  • Perform supplier segmentation and steer supplier relationships.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure corrective actions.
  • Define, develop and maintain a network of stakeholders.
  • Develop and mobilise a network required to carry out activities.
  • Develop and maintain a smooth flow of communication and feedback.
  • Give advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Network with other actors / NGOs.
Required Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply-related function, of which 2+ years in strategic procurement including vendor management.
  • Direct work experience in a complex multi-entity’ organization.
  • Experience in global contracting and negotiations.
  • Direct work experience in one of the 3 MSF European Supply Centers is a strong asset.
  • Experience in project management is an added value.
  • Experience in equipment sourcing, ideally in the Biomedical sector.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, with ideally a specialization in purchasing or project management, or a combination of relevant education and professional experience.

Good command of French is a strong asset.

1 year contract

Remuneration
MSF practice is to offer the C&B package current in the MSF entity establishing the contract.
