Overview
Lead the HR function and define and implement HR and administration strategy in alignment with MSF Lebanon strategic ambitions and MSF global workforce priorities. Advise the Executive Director and Management Team on workforce strategy, organizational development and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the HR strategy.
- Advise the Executive Director and Management Team on workforce strategy, organizational development and culture.
- Lead the HR department and ensure coherence and quality across all HR functions.
- Translate strategic priorities into operational plans and ensure implementation, monitoring and adaptation.
- Oversee workforce planning, HR budget and resource allocation.
- Ensure HR policies, systems and tools are compliant and continuously improved.
- Strengthen HR data management and digitalisation.
- Ensure quality HR services across the employee lifecycle.
- Promote organizational development, staff engagement, well-being, safeguarding and duty of care.
- Strengthen MSF Lebanon’s contribution to the global workforce.
- Ensure timely and quality staffing support to MSF programmes.
- Maintain strong collaboration with operational entities and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to organisational governance and decision-making.
- Represent MSF Lebanon in HR platforms within the MSF movement and contribute to global HR initiatives.
Required Experience
Minimum 6 years of HR leadership experience is mandatory, preferably from an international non-profit service organization or humanitarian sector. International experience with MSF is a strong asset. Experience working in complex, insecure and volatile environments. Experience in organisational development and in driving change management initiatives. Extensive end-to-end HR management experience.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related studies, or equivalent relevant experience.
