Overview
This internship involves performing research, assisting in coordination of activities, supporting database management, and undertaking administrative duties within the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, compile and summarize background materials for use in preparation of meetings, reports, summaries, etc.;
- Assists in the coordination of service-wide activities, special projects and events;
- Supports the management and development of internal databases; updates the website; generates a variety of standard and non-standard statistical and other reports from various databases;
- Assists in the preparation of presentation materials using appropriate technology/software;
- Performs a variety of administrative duties, as requested.
- Perform other functions, as requested.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
