Consultancy to work with the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders to undertake the development of a National Nutrition & Dietetics Policy.
At least 15 years’ experience working in the area of nutrition or public policy related areas at a senior level. Expertise in country level health and nutrition programs design, policy formulation and development of strategic plans, development of costed multisectoral strategies & plans, monitoring and evaluation. Demonstrated track record working in Public Nutrition internationally at Policy and Strategic levels. Proven track record for completing high quality nutrition & health policies, conducting planning, facilitating teams to develop policy documents, monitoring and evaluations within the stipulated timelines. Demonstrated experience in developing national policies, multisectoral coordination, and in facilitating high-level technical processes. Excellent analytical, conceptual, communication, writing, and facilitation skills. Ability to work independently and in teams within a multi-cultural environment. Having worked in Kenya is an added advantage.
Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) or equivalent background in Nutrition, Public Health, Health & Nutrition policy, Social Sciences or related areas. A PHD is an added advantage.
