Overview
Provide overarching support for the analysis on alternative and flexible learning pathways for out-of-school children in Indonesia. The analysis will focus on mapping policies, examining international good practices, identifying opportunities for Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion dimensions, and exploring other flexible learning pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the desk review and analysis on non-formal education (NFE) policies and curriculum in Indonesia.
- Play a key role in the analysis of other potential alternative learning pathways for OOSC in Indonesia.
- Play an active and leading role in consultations with relevant government and non-government stakeholders at national and sub-national levels.
Required Experience
- Relevant education background and professional experience in education sector development in Indonesia.
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible relevant experience in the field of education, especially on non-formal education (equivalency programme) implementation or other alternative learning pathway/s for out-of-school children in Indonesia.
- Experience in providing technical support for education sector related research in Indonesia, comprehensive data collection and analysis and report development.
- Experience in facilitating consultation with key education stakeholders at both national and subnational levels.
Qualifications
At least master’s degree in social science or other relevant fields.
