Overview

The consultant will conduct a comprehensive assessment of UNICEF Lebanon's office space to enhance the workplace environment, improve space utilization, and promote fairness in workspace allocation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a physical assessment of UNICEF offices regarding space use and identify key workplace comfort concerns.
  • Submit a concise Assessment Report summarizing findings, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Summarize staff needs and comfort priorities based on consultation.
  • Develop zoning strategies and provide at least two options for office space adjustments with cost estimates.
  • Submit concept layouts, zoning diagrams, and mood boards/material palettes.
  • Submit refined selected option including final layout drawings, design brief, and specifications.
  • Provide implementation approach and a detailed cost estimate and quotation.
Required Experience

Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in workplace planning, office space optimization, interior architecture, or corporate office design.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in interior architecture, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in interior architecture is required. A degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or another closely related field may be accepted where accompanied by demonstrated experience in workplace planning and office space optimization.
