Overview
The Repatriation Assistant contributes to ensuring the advancement of repatriation activities by implementing the voluntary repatriation programme in compliance with standard operating procedures. The role ensures that repatriation movements respect the principle of voluntariness and occur in safety and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Interview candidates for voluntary repatriation and ensure informed decisions on returns.
- Assist in preparing documents and providing refugees with appropriate documentation.
- Participate in mass information activities about the voluntary repatriation programme.
- Provide logistics and administrative support to voluntary repatriation movements.
- Assist in assessing the specific needs of vulnerable categories of returnees.
- Enter data relating to voluntary repatriation in the relevant database.
- Advise senior colleagues on individuals to register for return processing.
- Assist candidates in filling relevant documents.
- Gather and enter information on voluntary repatriation into databases.
- Support the identification and management of risks and opportunities.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience
For G4 - 1 year relevant experience with High School Diploma; or Bachelor or equivalent or higher
