Overview

The Knowledge Management Associate, Cities and Climate Change will support the Urban-Act project's mission to accelerate the shift toward low-carbon and resilient urban development in the Asia-Pacific region by capturing, curating, and disseminating knowledge outputs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the drafting, layout, and finalization of Urban-Act policy briefs and EFC reports.
  • Provide design support for thematic reports.
  • Create data visualizations, infographics, and summary snapshots.
  • Support content development and regular updates of the Urban-Act project section on the Urban SDG Knowledge Platform.
  • Ensure timely uploading of knowledge products, event summaries, multimedia content, and policy briefs.
  • Coordinate with technical and country teams to align content.
  • Design and produce quarterly communication materials.
  • Facilitate information exchange across city and country stakeholders.
  • Support planning and documentation of community of practice meetings.
  • Organize and manage logistics and communications for webinars.
  • Draft and disseminate webinar summary flyers.
  • Coordinate speakers, content curation, and webinar promotion.
  • Draft a final annual webinar summary report.
  • Support data collection and analysis to track project indicators and outputs.
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual progress reports.
  • Prepare outcome snapshots and case stories.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in reporting.
  • Support wider section level background work for intergovernmental meetings.
  • Support the preparation and consolidation of the project's report.
  • Support for sustainability and dissemination for regional training resources.
Required Experience

Experience in sustainable urban development or a similar field, including supporting research, developing communications product such as branding, video, and flyers, coordinating workshops, or webinars, and contributing to knowledge products. Experience in webinar coordination and management of knowledge products.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in urban planning, environment, geography, sustainable development, social sciences, or related discipline.
