Overview
The internship supports policy advocacy and decision-making in environment and development, focusing on nature-based climate solutions within the Asia-Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with relevant research for data collection and analysis in support of major knowledge products
- Develop infographics, attractive and interactive presentation of such GHG projections/scenarios, posters
- Support with the development of policy briefs and other outreach material
- Support the development of draft agenda, background documents and related side events and exhibits during various conferences.
- Assist the organization of webinars, online courses and subregional and regional consultations and climate awareness on the SDG Help Desk
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Qualifications
Student enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Master’s or PH.D. Programme. Those who have completed their studies at a Master’s level are preferred. Good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
