Overview

Provide in-country technical, analytical, and coordination support for the development of Gavi 6.0 applications in Solomon Islands.


Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate access to data and stakeholders.
  • Contribute contextual insights, including on equity and zero-dose populations.
  • Support coordination, review, and validation processes.
  • Document Vaccine Portfolio Optimisation and Prioritisation (VPOP) discussions, cash prioritisation processes, stakeholder consultations, and validation decisions.
Required Experience

5-8 years of relevant experience in immunization, health systems, or public health programming. Experience supporting national health planning processes, immunization strategy development, Gavi applications, or donor-funded health programmes is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in stakeholder coordination and facilitation, including organizing consultations and workshops. Work experience in Solomon Islands.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in public health, epidemiology, health policy, health economics, epidemiology, health systems, or a related field.
