Overview
Support UNICEF’s regional data tech portfolio in advancing the priorities of the Frontier Data Network (FDN) work plan with LACRO, focusing on data expertise, AI, geospatial intelligence, and collaborative innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the design, planning, implementation support, documentation, and delivery tracking of selected AI and frontier data tech use cases.
- Support the establishment of a Regional Network for Frontier Data Collaboration.
- Support the development and finalization of the LAC Data for Children Portal.
- Contribute to other innovative data products that involve AI solutions.
- Provide technical project management support across FDN LAC workstreams: Ahead of the Storm, Children on the Move, and AI Across the Data Lifecycle and Child center AI.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in project management, data/technology delivery, digital transformation, innovation, or AI/data initiatives.
- Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder projects across international organizations, governments, academia, or civil society.
Qualifications
Master's degree in data science, information systems, computer science, public policy, international development, statistics, geospatial analysis, project management, or related field. A first university degree with additional relevant experience could be accepted.
