Overview

The Information Systems Officer will oversee compliance audits, implement risk management processes, and lead the development and enforcement of ICT governance policies. The role also involves supporting governance committees, managing ICT budgeting, and leading cybersecurity operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees compliance audits and monitoring activities.
  • Implements risk management and quality assurance processes.
  • Prepares compliance reports and dashboards.
  • Leads the creation, review, and enforcement of ICT governance policies.
  • Defines and maintains project management methodologies.
  • Serves as the focal point for governance committees.
  • Develops and oversees ICT budgeting, pricing models, and billing processes.
  • Plans, coordinates, and manages fundraising initiatives.
  • Develops, maintains, and communicates the ICT service catalogue.
  • Leads the Security, AI and Endpoint Management team.
  • Develops and implements the section’s AI strategy.
  • Manages M365 group and account administration, Intune-based endpoint and device management, and license lifecycle management.
  • Collects and analyzes data to identify trends or patterns and provides insights.
Required Experience

A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology or related area is required. Experience in project implementation and multi-disciplinary team management is required. Experience in IT architecture is required. Experience in fundraising is desirable. Understanding of AI applications is desirable. Experience in digital transformation in organizational context involving technical and cultural changes is desirable. Experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or related field. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics or data science programs is an advantage.
